Story

Attorney Phung Anh Tuan is the Managing Attorney of PTN Legal with nearly 20 years of working experience. Attorney Tuan has more than 10 years of working experience at Vingroup Corporation, mainly responsible for the legal aspects of important transactions in the fields of mergers and acquisitions, capital mobilization, international bond issuance, corporate listing, cooperation and joint ventures … carried out by Vingroup Corporation and companies in the Corporation. Previously, Attorney Tuan worked for more than 2 years at Vision & Associates Legal.

Some typical large transactions that Lawyer Tuan has participated in include: the transaction of issuing listed shares to SK Group (Korea) with a value of up to 1 billion USD; the transaction of issuing preferential shares to Hanwha Group (Korea) with a value of up to 400 million USD; the transaction of issuing preferential shares to and granting convertible loans by a group of investors led by Warburg Pincus Investment Fund (USA) and the transaction of offering shares to the public and listing the company receiving investment on HSX; the transaction of purchasing strategic shares in a number of state-owned companies during equitization, including VEFAC, Vinatex and Cienco 6; the transaction of merging Vinpearl into Vincom to form Vingroup Corporation; the transaction of acquiring business store systems operating under the brands Citimark, Maximark, Fivimart, Vinatex Mart, Vienthong A in the process of forming and expanding the Vinmart and Vinmart+ supermarket systems; transactions of issuing international convertible bonds listed in Singapore with a total value of up to 500 million USD in 2012 and 2013; transactions of issuing international convertible bonds listed in Singapore with a total value of up to 775 million USD in 2018; export credit loan transactions guaranteed by Euler Hermes (Germany) with a value of up to 950 million USD; transactions of receiving investment capital from a strategic investor (Singapore) with an investment scale of up to 950 million USD before Vinhomes’s public offering and transactions of selling Vinhomes shares with a total value of over 1 billion USD
