Story
Lawyer Nguyen Huu Chat is a member of PTN Legal with more than 12 years of working experience. In particular, Lawyer Chat has nearly 10 years of working at Vingroup Corporation, participating in legal consulting in many activities of Vingroup Corporation including industrial production (automobiles, phones), technology, healthcare, education, e-commerce, real estate and issues related to corporate governance, foreign investment and building a system of legal compliance control in the Group’s operations. Previously, Lawyer Chat worked at Maritime Bank and InvestConsult Law Firm LLC – one of the oldest law firms in Vietnam.
Some typical transactions and works that Lawyer Chat has participated in include: Consulting on the acquisition of 51% of shares of a large technology company in Spain, consulting on the establishment of a joint venture to produce electric motorbike batteries between VinFast and LG Chem, a joint venture to produce plastic auto parts between VinFast and Aapico (Thailand), a joint venture to produce lithium batteries between VinES and Gotion INC, a joint venture to produce plastic parts between VinFast and An Phat JSC; Drafting, reviewing and negotiating technology transfer contracts, product development contracts, contracts to purchase machinery, equipment and components worth hundreds of millions of USD between VinFast and domestic and foreign suppliers; Consulting on legal issues related to licensing and technology transfer agreements for mRNA vaccine production between Vingroup and Arcturus Therapeutics (USA); Consulting on building a comprehensive legal compliance system for Vingroup and its subsidiaries to ensure compliance with legal requirements; Successfully represented Jetstar Pacific Airline and Parkson in labor disputes resolved by Vietnamese courts
